Ive liked a lot of the Metal Gear games when Ive gotten the chance to play them. Games like Metal Gear Solid 3, etc I would play for hours. Now, you can play Metal Gear Ac!d for the Playstation Portable. The looks of this game however disappoint me. Its a card game?!? A card game with a gun, how lame. Although other people will be picking it up, what are your thoughts on the game?

Thanks for using this set up, actually. I try to get people to do it, so people can get a basic run down on the game easier, so if you do this for other games, please do, if it isn't there, don't worry, once the info becomes availible either you, or whoever, or I, can edit the first post and stuff.

Anyways, I never was a fan of this series, in fact, I recently did get into it though. Metal Gear 2, I thought, sucked. I played 3 and my opinion changed, not drastically, but the game improved vastly. I'm not really up for picking up this because of the set up. I guess this is for more hardcore Metal Gear fans, so they can get this side of the story.

I don't like the card idea. Although it could work I'd have to actually play it to see. PSP won't be in Europe for centruies so I have alot of time to wait.

It's made by Konami (which may come as a shock to you) so I expect it to follow the fromat of Konamies other top selling card based games: Yu-Gi-Oh. Does it?

I thought the card idea smelled too fishy for it's own good. I think that developers had justification in putting popular playstation titles on the system, but too much of that can become stale. I thought Nintendo did the same thing with the DS, but now they are turning it around. But the bottomline is this "Any other metal gear solid game that scores lower than awesome is considered a failure"*

*I have not played the game, but if the game was good, the game reviewers would kiss some butt, something they clearly did not do.

GameSpot gave it an 8.2.

Basically, the game will not likely appeal to us MGS fans, but anyone who likes a fun card game with a cool theme behind it may find the time to get into the game and play for a long time.

Not my cup of tea, though.

Someone needs to explain how a half american half japanese woman has blond hair and blue eyes.

It seems like a certain game designer doesn't know simple genetics.

Besides that, though, this game is spectacular. It's Final Fantasy Tactics meets Metal Gear Solid.
