He is a Japanese artist known for blending post-rock elements with experimental and eletronic music who did a collaboration album with Mono. He has a number of solo releases, and I've grabbed a few of them lately, and he is pretty amazing in my opinion. I'll probably upload something soon. His songs tend to start simple, and then get more complex as they go.
