As anybody played a game that started kinda slow, but you decided to stick with it and it ended up being a good or great game?
Well, I think Breakdown(Xbox) had a fairly slow start and I actually stopped playing it for awhile since I thought I disliked it, but, one day I was bored and popped it in and found the 2nd half of the game to be a blast.
I think the same for Fallout(PC), which I recently picked up(very cheap, I may add) and it started out fairly slow, but I stuck with it and am enjoying it quite a bit now.
Well I thought Metroid Prime had a slow start I played the first bit and thought it was boring then I didn't play it for a long time. Then one day I started playing it again and once I got past the begining I couldn't stop playing it was so fun.

Prince of Persia: The Sands Within.
At first i didn't think the game was that "special" like every game magazine/site made it out to be, but later on i was fascinated by the layout of the puzzles and the combat system.
MGS3 actually started pretty slow to me, mostly becuse I was having a hard time getting used to the jungle. Then I realized all the stuff I could do, and the game pretty much beat everything else I had played up until that point.
Skies of arcadia was really slow at the beggining.
Probably the original Golden Sun. The first half hour consisted of dialouge and running around Vale. It definately picked up. :)
