Star=God Mode
[COLOR="DarkOrange"]I am sure that the Marios wouldnt be using the stars all the time... besides.. the stars dont last that long anyways.
You wouldnt be invincible for very long, and who is to say that there would be alot of stars in the games? Not only that, their purpose wouldnt have to be for giving invincibility. In Chip and Dale: Rescue rangers, there were stars in that game. Some gave instant 1-Ups, the others you had to collect so many to earn it.

i do sometimes think that i wish marios abilities could be used in other games
[COLOR="DarkOrange"]The whole concept with the Super Smash Bros. is really what sparked my idea, since you get like, Link in there busting out the Super Mushrooms, Stars, Koopa Shells, and Pokeballs...
I can just see Link wearing his Goron Tunic and using Firepower. He dosnt need Din's Fire, he can just use a Fire Flower. And as for Farore's Wind, no, no, he just needs a Super Leaf. He can just use a Star instead of Nayru's Love. :D

Those should be Bloopers in the Mega Man shot.
I wonder how Mario would work for some 64 games, like Goldeneye, or some Game Cube games, like Animal Crossing.

I Have always wondered about a first person shooter game with Mario and the gang in it, and how strange that would be... I could just imagine getting the fire flower and you are holding your hand out and waiting to shoot a flame.... but if he was in there right along next to James Bond, I dont think he would have any problems with his missions.[/COLOR]
it would be interesting to see mario in sonic... except that they'd have to increase the time limit (or maybe sonic and co. would race past them so fast they automatically got there)
It would be Sonic racing, but you'd keep having to switch between them because there are certain things, obstacles or whatever, that certain members of the party can overcome. Sonic could get passed things fast, but Mario can do...other things.

As close as you'll get to mario FPS as of now. It needs more smiling clouds and mountains though.
Conker, X, Zero, and Sonic would join together in a rebellion and they would have a war against thousands of toad and goomba clones. They should make a video game about that.

Maybe they should have used Mario instead of Link in Soul Calibur 2, How cheesy would it be to see an over-weight, Italian Plumber weilding the Excalibur.
Excaliber? Wrenches and plunger would be more up Marios alley.
