So here's a blank map. Fill it in. Use red to indicate where you've traveled, and green to indicate where you've lived.
A few rules: Offshore territories and the like. Unless you've been to either, don't fill in Alaska or Hawaii if you've been to the USA. Similarly don't fill in the Falklands if you've been to England, etc.
A few little discrepancies on mine: I've not actually been to mainland China, but considering Hong Kong is miniscule I filled it in regardless. The islands on the far eastern edge of the map (north of New Zealand) are Tonga. I've only been to Peru, Brazil and Italy as a result of connecting flights, and most of the countries on the east Mediterranean have been day trips. Other than that I concede that I'm well-traveled; despite there still being plenty of places I'd love to see, I have been fortunate enough to visit a good deal of fascinating countries through one way or another.
Green: Canada, US
This is a good thread.
Red: Bahamas, U.S. Virgin Islands
Green: U.S.
I've also been to New Jersey.
I'd like to travel more. Someday I probably will.
Fill in the map you lazy western scum.
I need an inexpensive way to travel the world that doesn't involve my mother dating a millionaire.
And I filled in Hawaii because I wanted to use the Magnifying Glass in Photoshop.

Outside the US, I've just been to Ireland, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and St. Thomas

I've visited 29 of the US states
I'm not really that well-travelled within the states.

I'd like to see some of the Western states eventually.

Not much to see in the western states, aside from the coast states.
edit: screwed up my map, just remembered I've also been to both of the Kansas Cities in Missouri and in Kansas.
Red: Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana
Green: Manitoba
I plan on doing a lot more travelling in the near (hopefully) future.

Yeah, fuck going to the northern states or other countries. Seriously though, I plan on traveling the UK, France, Italy, and other various European countries at some point and eventually living in Portland, Oregon.
Traveling is something that I've always wanted to do, but haven't really had the opportunity to do. Outside of the US, I've only visited Mexico (Tijuana) and within the confines of the states I've only been to various places in California, Nevada, and Hawaii. I've lived my entire life in California, too. Such an extravagant and exciting life I lead. ...:(

Hah, that's almost exactly what I plan to do in the coming years, except I'd probably relocate to Portland first (either that or Seattle, San Francisco, or Vancouver) and then begin my European expedition with one or two close friends. I know for sure that I want to get the hell out of SoCal relatively soon, within the next 2-3 years.

Rather than try to remember exactly what states I've flown through or driven through in a day I just highlighted the ones I've spent at least a couple weeks in.
And, wow, Corrupt and Shin-Ra want to move up next to me? :-*
Sweet.

Most of the Americas are filled in due to a HUEG road trip I took with my dad from Worcester, Massachusetts to Tierra Del Fuego in Chile and Argentina
From what I remeber it was actually pretty chill. My family rented a big house out in the mountains one summer and we stayed there for like a week. the nearest "town" was like 20 minutes away i thihnk. <3 woods.
I prefer heavily wooded areas, too. I miss living out in Washington..

Afraid of the East Coast, much, you only went to Georgia?
It's entirely possible to travel the world with nothing but the clothes on your waist if you're creative and bold enough. Then again, not many kids these days are.
So true, back when I was 12 and living in Syracuse, NY. I hopped the back of a Ryder truck with my cousin, as it was passing through an intersection. Got a free ride a few miles upstate.
Because I'm incredibly lazy:
I've lived in New Mexico. I've been to nearly every state. I've been to Mexico. I will be going to (as in I currently have plane tickets, reservations, etc), the UK and France this summer, and I plan to attend college in Germany in 2008.

Sadly, I've never left the US :(
Make your first venture out of the country to visit me. My town is pretty cool, you know? We have... uh, the Silicon Knights studio here. They make neat games. And we boarder the city of Buffalo. That's an okay place, right? Lake Ontario, come on. How can you pass it up?
By blowing the trip money on a **** load of hookers, and lottery tickets.
The maps won't work so i'm going to just write them out.

I lived in California. Three of these are airports and two of these I only went to a gas station. Guess which!

Again, only airports for Japan and South Korea. By this time next year I will have added Hong Kong, Finland, Spain, and wherever else in Europe I manage to go while living in Spain.
