A new video documentary about creating the multiplayer. Includes the X button, bubble shield and a bunch of other stuff
Enjoy.
I saw this today, and man does the multiplayer look good. I didnt catch in the video what the X button does, I might have to watch it again
Looks ****ing gay. What the **** is this ****. This mother****er isn't Halo CE. I'm not even touching this bull****.
But yeah, I'll just go "rent" Crackdown.
They stopped shipping H3 Beta Crackdowns on April 2nd yo.
Apparently not, since the Bungie site is saying you can still pick up the beta through Crackdown. Plus, blockbuster and the like have discs from when they were first shipped.
Oh, and the X button drops equipment like the portable launcher, bubble shield and mine.
[quote=Wikipedia]it is confirmed no more copies of Crackdown with the invitation to Halo 3 Beta are being produced
.
Wikipedia says so so it must be true.
...
You can still buy the copies that have already been produced and shipped before April 2nd. ISNT THAT COOL???
btw, can someone remind me which three maps those are from the old games?
I thought Snowbound, Val halla and High Ground were remakes of something?
I think they're all "spiritual predecessors" to existing maps. Like Valhalla is supposed to be the next Blood Gulch and whatnot.
Thank ***, 'cause if I got to choose which 3 maps I got to play for a month Blood Gulch would definitely be in the top 1.
Wow, good job linking to Gamevideos, worst video site on the internet!
Works fine for me lol

Leaked footage from the beta build. About 6:45 in length. Shows off the Zanzibar remake, updated bubble shield, spartan laser, etc, etc.
"Leaks" rarely (if never) actually occur, excluding when the full French version of Halo 2 was released by accident, so don't let these videos fool you. There's a good chance all of this was planned.:)
Oh yeah, no doubt about that. There's very little chance Bungie would let something like that, at least of this quality, get out without them knowing or planning it.
The most amusing thing is that the user blacked out everything except the kill list that pops up on the left. So Bungie can easily go through the kill logs and see who was playing that match and find who's responsible :)
it's funny because less than an hour after the video was found kids on message boards had already found out who the guy was. But yeah, you'd think he would've, you know, realise that especially if he goes through all the work of blacking out every other instance of it.
