3-D Art

Posted by Arczu

Alright. I have been able to play around with a program called Cinema 3D. I really like this program because there is so much you can do with it. SO with that, I enter the 3-d art genre. Check this:Core.jpg

And here's something I came up with recently (large): SphBox.jpg

You mean Cinema4D.

I like it. Good work. How long have you had it? I'm more into abstract shape rendering so I can't offer any tips.
Cinema 4DWoops... heh heh.

Ever since I got into this mutimedia class this semester, the Macs had this program installed into it. Our teacher showed us the basics like how to place texturs onto things and modefying shapes and whatnot. But a lot of experience comes with just experiementing.

I'm trying to use particles right now. It's so hard though because these computers aren't powerful enough to quickshade the effect. and rendering... well yeah that takes a long time. Been working with it for 2 months now.

Nice work. I've been thinking about getting some sort of program like this. It'd be interesting to work with.

A program like this will cost you BIG time to get on your own though. I think our school was even lucky to get the program in the first place... So you may want to look around for free or trial versions first, before getting the actual.

I got this one I did last thurday. It's a work in progress:

Not bad; not bad at all. I also remember doing similar things in Bryce in my school's multimedia class. Great fun, and some of the things you could create in that program were amazing.

Very good. I would suggest using Maya 6. You can get it free off of their site, http://www.alias.com and then give it a try. Its pretty fun.
