Luminous Arc

Posted by Shade

A new RPG from Atlus for the DS. Based on the video it looks like a cross between Riviera and FFTA.

I can't wait until August.

Reminds me of Vandal Hearts. Looks good to me. I'll be there.

yeah, I read about that in Nintendo Power.
Looks awesome although I will refrain from buying it on account of the fact that there is too many Wii games I'm looking into buying in the future.

Smash Bros., Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, ***father. ect.

Delicious Atlus game. I must buy it.

Posted by Shade

Yeah. It'll definitely make up for the fact that Etrian Odyssey looks like utter crap.

Hey, EO looks great. **** you. :(

Posted by Shade

Not too impressed by the screens.

[quote]One of the special traits in this game is be the Drive Gauge, which, when filled, allows the player to use a deathblow attack to kill an enemy.

Sound familiar Zeta?

Posted by Zeta

Tons of RPGs have some sort of uber attack gauge, moron.

And EO looks good because it's like super old-school RPGs.

Posted by Shade

I was also calling attention to the name.

Overdrive Meter = Drive Gauge

EO looks like alot of fun and I've been looking forward to it for months. Luminous Arc could be good, but if it's just another Atlus SRPG, I won't be buying it.

Posted by Shade

I'm not understanding how EO looks fun. Is there video footage or somethin that I missed out on?

Posted by Zeta

idk, lol. I just heard it was like older RPGs and was like "****ING SOLD!"

Posted by Shade

What are old school RPG's like? =\

Quoting Shade32: I'm not understanding how EO looks fun. Is there video footage or somethin that I missed out on?

The video was mostly shots of a Japanese city, so **** it. It was useless.
