Simple. Grab an instrument with a sufficiently sharp edge, position its edge at a 90 degree angle against the surface, and while pressing firmly downward against the flesh, pull the instrument back toward you rapidly. Snatch an unattended baby and practice with it, you'll get the hang of it in no time, I just know it. Judging by many of the blog entries on MySpace regarding sobbing and slitting, any moron is capable of performing such a simple mechanical feat.
