A remake for metroid 2 done metroid prime style would be awesome. Of course there would have to be a bigger room for the queen metroid fight at the end of the game.. But I still think it's a doable title for the nintendo wii. Just add some space pirate & space pirate logs in there to keep up with the story. And to add to the topic, to bad the other metroids, like the gamma metroids weren't in metroid prime..

Pretty ****ed off that Nintendo hasn't done it yet...
Rather than remakes, Nintendo really have to get a fresh 2D Metroid onto the DS or GBA. Soon.

Single-player is below average. Multiplayer is good, but extremely broken.
It's awesome at first, but the novelty wears off. Multiplayer reigns supreme if you don't exploit certains tricks.

Wasn't there supposed to be a 2d metroid game coming out? Metroid: Dread? Or was it canned.
It was nothing but a rumor.
Nintendo has the marble, it just haven't envisioned the game inside.
In other news, as cool as a remake would be, I'm not sure I would like to see a hackjob of the Metroids like the Omega Metroid at the end of Metroid Fusion. Those feet are supposed to serve no function, people! They're not supposed to walk!
They should make Zeta Metroids even faster in a remake. :cool:
