Has it happened to you?

I wonder.....

Have you ever hated an artist but loved his/her songs AND know their lyrics?
If so, who and why?

I hate Marilyn Manson because he's, well, Marilyn Manson and all, but I own Antichrist Superstar due to Trent Reznor's involvement and heavy influence on the overall sound and theme of the album. Other than that, I'd never buy one of his albums.

Marilyn Manson's a smart guy.

I've never hated a musical artist.

Okay, I don't hate him, I dislike him.

Who: Flyleaf

Why: I just listened to a song and it just stuck in my head.

Yeah it happens. You try to think in something else and "poof" suddenly you're singing or thinking in that song again. I hate when that happens, I just can't concentrate at all.

As an artist, I hate the girl who sings "Barbie Girl." But damn it, It's catchy as hell.

I like Flyleaf. It's not melodramatic by any means, nor is it actually emo based on the definitive meaning of the word. -shrug-

Anyhow, I used to hate Tool, but now its my favorite band. I suppose that counts.

Flyleaf are horrible and I have no good words to say about them or their songs.

And no, "it" has not happened to me.

Oh, I don't care much for Sum 41. But Hell Song is pretty good, yo.
