Technologically speaking, the idea is great. To create the capacity for one screen to simultaneously display two different things is a good achievement. Not very practical, but an interesting idea none-the-less but it does raise the question, what if everyone in the room just wanted to watch one program and how is sound created for two programs showing at the same time?
If it costs double that of a regular television and there's a desperation to watch two different things during the same time slot, buy two regular televisions instead. A terrible idea for life and general purpose but an interesting step towards technological advancements, to say the very least.
I gathered headphones also, but directional sound? The person sitting two meters from the other person in the room is still going to hear it, unless they have soundproof glass between each of them.
