I must say, I'm fairly overjoyed with this list, it gives me a lot more incentive to buy a Wii. (Even though I've been scrounging money for the last two months in an effort to get one anyway)

Eh, that wouldn't work. Samus doesn't have any melee weapons. Plus, she wouldn't fit whatever time period the game takes place in.

Zeta and Potato Man are both wrong, because they forget that SAMUS IS THE TIMELESS HEROINE.

Link is the best choice for the SC character. Fits in with the time period, popular, and sword for Wiimote.

What time period does the Soul Calibur series take place in anyways? I've always assumed it to be around the 18th or 19th century for some reason. >_>

There's no way. I used to predict that, but they're not ready. They're going to take the time to get better with codes and all. You know how games start to look better on a system through time. This game's too important for them to rush.

No. Maybe 18th, but from what it seems, guns were a pretty new thing. Guns were well alive and kicking in the 18th. It's hard to tell the time period, but I'd say 17th or so.

As for SSBB, March would be orgasmic. :( But I seriously doubt it'd be out that soon. And if it were, I'm sure we'd have more news by now. Something tells me they'll go back on their word and actually implement Wii control into it. I think it'll be out much later. EGM predicts Fall.

Maybe in a series designed for it. Not SC though. It's like VF. You can only play that game with an arcade stick.
