I'm stuck because the ladder that should be lowered in D-3 isn't, and I can't progress on to fight W and all that. I fought Pandora in area M like I was supposed to, and then continued on through N because I thought that O came right after that(I hate how the game rearranges the alphabet). Anyways, I unknowinly defeated Omega thinking it was a part of the storyline before fighting W... Anyways, I then got the mysterious stone and tried to get to area O the right way. The walkthroughs say that a ladder will be lowered in area D-3, and I can even see it there, but it's not lowered and I can't reach it.
What do I do?

Did you take the mission to go take out Model W?
The ladder isn't lowered unless you take the mission.
It won't lower until you accept the "Repel the Army" mission.
Ohhh alright. I got all messed up because I did that before, but forgot to do it this time.
