yay. Finally! I've read over 50 of these books. Not that great, but still, I always wondered if they'd make a movie. And Emma Roberts is playing Nancy! She played Claire in Aquamarine! If it's not Emma Watson, then Roberts is ok with me. I wonder if they'll make a bunch of movies, too, and we can continue to watch Emma grow older and more sophisticated.

Nancy Drew as a ***** and you know this movie is going to suck.
Hmm I was a Nancy Drew fan, and collected all the original books for fun, but I dont know, if done correctly it could be a really good movie. But then nothing has been done right lately.
And if that girl in the picture is supposed to be Nancy Drew, they screwed up already.
I read a ton of the novels when I was very young, and enjoyed them when I was that age. Definitely not looking forward to seeing a movie based on the books now. You know Vamp's right.
Of course it isn't going to be some fantastic film. Just a fun film with familiar characters, plot, etc. I've seen a few Andrew Fleming films and they have their moments, but are certainly not amazing by any means. But still, it's Nancy Drew and Emma Roberts! I read so many of the books, I can't help but think it's pretty cool that they're finally doing the film. Took them long enough, if you ask me.

ewww. Hardy Boys? Nancy would use her girlish ways to feel differently about a situation and it would usually lead her to solve the case. The Hardy Boys would be all "screw estrogen" and use logic and what a bore that was.
