I really suck at animating and I want to animate one of my avi's so I was wondering if someone could help we with that. I just wanted to animate the hair, the ring of fire, and the eye.

I think you think animating is a lot easier than it is. And really, animating that wouldn't be hard. What would be hard would be creating whole new sprites for the fire, etc, and applying those to the animation. :)
Couldn't you just pop each frame into Paint Shop, and apply a wind effect to the required areas of attention on the sprite, but utilize a different set position of the effect each time? It sounds cheesey, but time effective and easy with variance.
