I for one, got a Wii and I'm having a blast with Wii Sports/Zelda.
I started off feeling terrible due to eating bad taco meat yesterday, but that passed and the day got **** awesome. As much as leading up to the day is grueling and generally unfun, Christmas is great. I, for one, did not have a ****ty day. Sorry to hear you did though. Maybe New Years will be better.

The entire day just reeked of ****tiness. I dare say that this is probably the worst Christmas I've ever experienced. Not due to lack of gifts or the lack of quality of said gifts, but rather just the entire mood.
But on the subject of gifts... the most memorable gift I received today was a computer mouse that had a fake silver coat with an engraving. The engraving (since my mother is catholic/christian, kind of a mix) said "WWJD - Chris." Decrypted it means "What Would Jesus Do - Chris." For those of you who've never been to church or done anything churchlike.
So I sat down at my desk at around 11 AM just contemplating the day and a few other things when it dawned on me... This 'mouse' was the worst ****ing present ever. I don't mean to seem ingrateful or just generally full of ****, but come on. If I were to use this mouse that I had been given that would mean that whenever I wanted to watch porn I would have to read "WWJD" and then think of what the **** Jesus would be doing. Would he masturbate to porn or would he not? Hell, would jesus even be on the computer? So I then started thinking... is this my parents' way of telling me to stop masturbating?
To me, there's no other reason as to why they would engrave such a message on my ****ing mouse. But no matter, I'm gonna use it at my day job and not at my personal computer. Taking into consideration that I don't masturbate openly at my day job I think this is a suitable arrangement.
Still, what a ****ty day.
I had to work for 10 boring hours, and it there was pouring rain for like 2 hours, which started while I was conveniently walking outside with no raincoat or umbrella. Other than that, it was pretty awesome...

Oh how I love the holidays.

Sure, I do hate Christmas, but not because I'm some bitter, lonely joykill who has to post on the internet and then get mad when somebody posts how much they enjoyed theirs. You think you're lonely? You think your family on-goings are awful? You think you had a bad Christmas? Try hearing my sob story; I'm sure you won't be able to resist looking back on your life and realizing, "Hey, I don't have it all that bad."
For the most part, some of you twits make me sick. You all think that Christmas is great for it's time of giving, of caring, of togetherness. But why should Christmas be any different from any other day? I don't visit with the people I care about just on some silly day in December, and I sure as hell don't give my friends and family gifts only in celebration of one specific event. Furthermore, why should I feel bad for you because you're alone on just one specific day of the year? I don't feel bad for you, and, as a matter of fact, I can only hope your Christmas Day could only be worse.
As for my day, I woke up at 9 AM, got to work at 10, and worked up until 5:30 PM. I walked to a friend's house, hung out and watched Cars and Talladega Nights, then came home. My friend's, unlike me, like to honor Christmas tradition, so I was given a few gifts, but just a few simple things. Today, other than the gifts, was nothing more than a regular day for me, and I hope it's the same, next year.:)
Good day since it wasn't a work day. Slept for the most part. Pneumonia got my lung! Having a hard time breathing here without coughing for the most part.
I almost ran over a puppy on the way to work, I almost hit a wild mountain goat crossing the highway on the way home, and I almost said something to a republican that could have easily been falsely construed as nice. Yes, it's safe to say that today was a day full of close calls, but overall, it wasn't bad. I'm so glad December is almost over.
Where the hell do all of you people work that had to be open on Christmas?
My Christmas wasn't all that great, but like Boner said, it's just another day in the year. From this perspective, I can just write off today as "pressured" and make up for it by having a lot of fun tomorrow, which I will. Tomorrow I finally have time to do things I've been wanting to do for a long time.
I'm pretty sure my resolution for '07 is going to be "convince parents that video games as presents are much better than a lot of pairs of socks, no matter their wool content."
I enjoyed my Christmas. I was filled with old Christmas memories while in the midst of creating new ones. Wrapping paper makes such a wonderful mess.

Since I was able to see some family members that I only see once or twice a year, I had an enjoyable christmas.
Yeah, see that's what really pulls Christmas through for people, being able to spend it with others. It seems as though that's why Speedy had a bad Christmas experience, he wasn't with his girl and was a bit jealous of his brother for being with his. :(
