I just picked up my wii today.
A friend of mine that works at toys R us managed to set one aside for me.
I bought the system, zelda, arcade card, arcade controller, and one extra wii mote with numchuck.
I can't seem to find out how to connect the second controller.
Could somebody please help me out?

It connects to the Wiimote. The Classic Controller and Nunchuk both plug right into it.
Or are you talking about activating the controllers? If so, you push the red thingy where you'd put the battaries in the controller while pushing the red thingy where you'd put the SD card in the Wii. kk?
Also, this should all be explained in your instruction manual.
