I am getting really mad. None of the stations will play and none of my music is being scrobbled. I restarted my computer and uninstalled then reinstalled Last.fm. I dunno what else to do. Help please?

As you might be able to tell, ever since I received my Zen for the holidays, I haven't been listening to nearly as much music on my computer as I used to. Such is life!

It's gotta be something with Last.fm. I just had to take everything out of my computer because it messed up really bad. I had to reinstall everything, and Last still isn't working. Any idea of how long these server meltdowns last?

Maybe you don't know how to follow instructions? My last.fm's working fine.

Alright. Now it's picking up the songs that I play on WMP. I haven't tried the radio though. I'll most likely give it a try after school.

Basically the same thing, just with more material and came before Wintersun. And, in my personal opinion, "Victory Songs" is better than "Wintersun."

Maybe because not all of us listen to music solely on our computers? We have other methods, you know. I mean, if I could listen to music on my computer all the time, that'd be great, but considering I live in a place where there are almost always people going back and forth, and the fact that many of them bitch about the volume (even when it isn't that loud, I swear), that isn't exactly an option. I have my 30 GB Zen Vision:M and a good set of headphones though, so it's fine.

Slow week. If my phone scrobbled, it'd be sooooo much higher. :(

The fact that my little friend Vision: M gets most of the action nowadays would explain why my weekly charts are so sparse. I really should listen to more music on my computer though, and cleanse my charts of all the Tiesto, ATB, Ian Van Dahl, and all the other trance bullshit that I don't even listen to anymore.

It's too bad Rockbox hasn't been developed for that ZVM yet. I put it on my iAudio and was able to scrobble my mp3 player listening. I haven't used my mp3 player for a couple months though because 1) No school and 2) my phone, while having much less memory, is more convenient.

I haven't bothered to put the scrobbler thing on my iPod, but oh gees my play count would easily be doubled if that were the case.

I'd have even more Hammock, Sigh, and Peste Noire than I already do if my iPod scrobbled my plays.

I leave mine on random all the time, but I do listen to about 500-700 tracks per week on the thing.

It took a little while, but I think he's asking how he can listen to one certain artist on the last.fm radio without all the "similar artists" on there.

That's not how it works, man. I don't use it myself, so I'm not clear on all the details, but I know you can't do that.

how do people have 700 plays from one artist, but, only have three artist total on the list.

Because they only listened to 3 artists on ITunes ever since they registered.

They're musically closeminded and obsessed with the same three bands. There's people who only listen to one band or artist. It's dumb, but people actually do that.

Yeah one of the top listeners of Chemical Brothers at last.fm has over 2000 plays of them, but nothing else. No other artists.

I couldn't imagine just listening to the same few artists over and over again. Which might explain why my top ten are relatively low in numbers compared to other people.

Excepting that EXTREME TECHNICAL PROGRESSIVE GROOVE DEATH ROCK OPERA AVANT-GARDE POWER THRASH METAL band Deathspell Omega, of course.

I used to listen to Tori Amos a few years back when my sister did and I remember it being pretty good. But I like that type of music anyways.

Hayley Williams of Paramore is the anti-Avril Lavigne. One day she'll usurp Avril's throne and sell as many records, albeit of far better music.

Isn't the Anti-Avril Lavigne Britney Spears. I mean, she's the Anti-Britney Spears, so you know.

Paramore's guitar parts are all almost identical in structure and the only thing they have going for them is a decent girl singer that makes them sound slightly different from other bands on the radio.

I'd go with the Ramones, personally.

I haven't been listening to nearly enough music on my computer these days, it seems.

Oh yeah, and Pisstank is at #1 because I've played one (count 'em, one) of his tracks 23 times over the course of a few days, which is exceptional for me, considering I rarely ever listen to the same song more than twice in a row.
