[b][color=limegreen]What are some of your favourite Game Boy games and why?
Mine:
Game Boy:
Tetris - This is such a classic. I still love to play it.
Mario Land - This was my first Game Boy game, and I still enjoy it.
Pok
GameBoy
--------
Tetris - As far as I can remember, this was the only GameBoy game I ever played. And it was the best.
GameBoy Colour
--------
Pokemon Silver - This was fun for a hell of a lot of time. I never got tired of restarting the game after I completed it.
Donkey Kong Country - I'm not sure which one in the series it was, but it was extremely hard, therefore it deserves to be mentioned.
GameBoy Advance
--------
Jackie Chan Adventures - I loved this game. It was hilariously addictive. The graphics went well with the commands, I guess
Super Mario Advance 3: Super Mario World 2 - Re-make of the SNES version. Of course it'd be fun.
Shining Soul - I'd have to say this was one of my favourite RPG's on the GBA.
Kingdon Hearts Chain of Memories- Because it is one of the few games I can accually win in. And also I like disney & final fantasy.
I would have to say kingdom hearts also. I play it all the time!
Game Boy:
1. TMNT: Rise of the Foot Clan(not sure on the title but one of my first action games)
2. Mario World(played it all summer vacation one year)
3. Paperboy(never could beat it, but it was a great challenge!)
Game Boy Color:
1. Lemmings(a lot like the original, which I loved)
2. Dragon Warrior 3(loved collecting coins-best RPG on Color for me)
Game Boy Advance:
1. Golden Sun(best RPG on GBA, great graphics, gameplay, loved finally beating it)
2. Golden Sun 2(2nd best, original always rules)
3. Mario Kart: Super Circuit(awesome for trying to beat friends times on courses)
Note: I almost put down Mario DS's minigames for, well, DS, but then I remembered that Nintendo announced it was moving away from Game Boys, and toward some revolution crap, so.... I guess it doesn't count.
Game Boy:
Tetris; the only Game Boy game still fun to play after all these years.
Game Boy Color:
Lufia: The Legend Returns; an awesome RPG on the Game Boy Color console, really fun to play with lots of extras and replay value.
Super Mario Brothers Deluxe; great game, lots of extras used to enhance the original.
Game Boy Advance:
Mega Man Battle Network 2; the first Game Boy Advance game I got, still the best, mainly due to tons of extras and great gameplay.
F-Zero: Maximum Velocity; fast racing, tons of tracks, I only wish the computer was more forgiving...
I have not tried many gameboys (color one, advance and DS)
On color, its POKEMON
On advance, Its Final fantasy
On DS, its super mario DS
Game Boy Advance:
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories- I practically drooled when I first saw this the beggining FMV. Such detail for the gameboy. The storyline was perfect. The graphics were way ahead of it's time. Even if the battle system was kind of annoying, the detail was better then some playstation games. It features real live music, and several appalling FMVs. Good job Square-Enix!
Golden Sun Series- Another awesome game series. It had extrememly good graphics for it's time, awesome gameplay. Great storyline etched up the game. This was a series to die for. It was an extremely difficult Game, though. Seeing as it wasn't a Square Enix Creation, it was awesome.
I dont know Pokemon Silver maye
I dont know Pokemon Silver maybe
Gameboy:
Pokemon Yellow - I played through that game many times, and it never seemed to get old, EVER. Out of all the pokemon games that followed it, I still consider it the best.
Gameboy Color:
Pokemon Crystal - Same as Yellow, I played through it many times, and it never got old. After that though, the whole Pokemon fad died on me.
Gameboy Advance:
Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap - I only have 3 GBA games (Pokemon Ruby, Super Mario Advance 4, and LoZ: The Minsh Cap). Out of those 3, I've been enjoying Minish Cap the most, despite the fact I'm no where near done with it.
I'm only going to go into detail about the GBA games, but my favorite Gameboy Color game is Pokemon Silver.
Golden Sun- The first GBA game in my collection that absolutely blew my mind while I played it. I had a great story, characters you grow to like, even the bad guys. And some great boss battles. The graphics were great for the time, and the music was brilliant. I also loved how the lighthouse dungeons were made more prominent because of their importance in the story. And using all of those different psynergies in battle, bliss. My only complaint is that it ended too soon.
Golden Sun: The Lost Age- Everything I said about the first one, but times ten. More psynergies were thrown into the game, the weapons unleashes were cranked up a notch, and it produced my favorite video game character ever. Felix. I also liked how there were so many more djinni to find. The dungeons were expanded, and did I mention how the best part of this series are the excellent boss battles that exceed every game in existance? Also, the Jupiter Lighthouse was breath taking. The final boss battle was great, and the "movie" sequence that followed it was hearwarming. My hat's off to Camelot.
GB
Pokemon Red-This was my first game and its addicting

Game Boy:
Pokemon Red - I played this game way too much when I first got it. I remember one time I was grounded from video games/tv, so I used to sneak into the bathroom and play the hell out of this for hours. It makes me sad no one ever noticed I was in there that long.
Game Boy Color:
Mario Tennis - So much fun.
Game Boy Advance:
Tactics Ogre - This game is so much better than FFTA. The story is fantastic and it has a lot of really neat, biblical themes that I enjoy. It makes it feel more epic, I suppose. Anyway, great game, one of my favorites.
