My parents asked me if I wanted to get a enw TV for Christmas or a Wii. Seeing as how I am dying inside for a wii I chose Wii(I need a new TV too but still). Now the Wii will go in my room, and my room right now is very very small. I will only have 2 1/5 - 3 feet between my bed and my TV, and not much room on either side of my room. Now, will I still be able to get up and use the Wii's interactive capabilities similiar to if I had a larger room(I'll be using my basement living-room type deal once I move into the new house)?
You'll want as much space as possible, but you could easily make it work with what you have.
Distance will be no problem unless you want to stand and do full motions in wiisports.
It may take some fun out of the concept, but if you don't have enough room you can sit down and still perform most of the actions. The only game I'd really use space for is Wii Bowling, but even that shouldn't matter, seeing as it's not required that you walk forward to throw the ball.
