Greatest Director or Greatest Director?
Although he has a small film list they are all excellent. Memento alone proves his talent, but you only have to look at his most recent works such as The Prestiege and Batman Begins you see how great he is. Best bit is he writes his films. Alot of directers nowadays merely look at a script but even in texts which arent his orignal idea (such as The Prestiege or Batman) he still shines through and adds his own unique twist. He does alot of collaboration including with his brother (who wrote a short story which Memento was based on). I love him. But not in a gay way.
He certainly knows how to pick his actors. I can't recall all the movies he's done, but the three main ones (Memento, Batman, Prestige) have all been really excellent. He knows his stuff and I'll give him credit. I wouldn't say greatest anyways... he hasn't made enough movies to say that quite yet.
