Digital photography thread

Posted by Raptor

This is my thread for posting various photographs I've taken, which don't quite warrant making a brand new topic for. I once had a thread like this on another forum before that entire domain was rendered completely worthless. Anyone who wishes to post their photos here or comment on mine is welcome to.

I took all these a couple days ago. I shot the first two while taking my lunch at a scenic lookout, and the third one I took while at work.

folly beach, south carolina. a mediocre beach at best, but still a nice place to hang out and get some beer and grillin goin. picture was taken in february, if i recall, which accounts for the total lack of people.

A rather interseting tree on the road that dead ends in Poor Spot Cemetery, outside of Perry, FLorida. Taken in spring 2006 on a road trip to New Orleans for a class assignment after the devestation of hurricane Katrina.

Just sort of a neat picture taken near sundown on the previously mentioned trip. Not sure where it was taken, or what road it was on, but that was a sunset as we were heading west, whcih puts us somewhere in the eastern panhandle, before panama city most likely. On the right is my old roommate, cam, who has since been diagnosed and revered from a benign brain tumor. Not sure who the driver was. Either my buddy chas, or some dude whos name eludes me.

A picture of the superdome in New Orleans, still partially destroyed. I didnt see the tag on the wall until after we took the picture, but thought it was an interesting one afterwards considering that the dome was the sight of so much misery and suffering immediately after the hurricane.
