Anyone else excited to see Le Guin's short stories get done Ghibli-style? I know I am. The books were fantastic and I'll probably like the anime even better. It's being directed by a newcomer, Goro Miyazaki, but he is the son of Hayao Miyazaki, so that should be interesting to observe. Perhaps he'll continue his father's work.
I believe this film is already out in Japan, but we won't be able to see it until 2009! It's a shame we have to wait so long. I would think they could at least get it to us by 2007, but then again, Howl's Moving Castle took them a long time, too. Hopefully they get decent voice talents.
