I was listening to most of these songs around the mid-90's, back when my musical tastes were extremely undeveloped and centered almost entirely around mainstream rock. It's unsurprising that most of the above songs are very mainstream as well. But I must pay homage to those few delicious anthems that inititally inspired my taste for electronica, and my inability to get enough of it these days.
First song I remember hearing and liking was "Wheres Your Head At?" by Basement Jaxx. After that it was Blood Bath Rave by crystal method. From there, I got big into method. After that, I got really into oakenfold and Tiesto, and then opened up a bit more after talking to rupty recently, moving into Voodoo and Serano, and a little bit of System F.
"Da Funk" by Daft Punk. Fell in love with the band right then and there. Didn't get into the genre until just over a year ago though.
