Praise me!
Good accomplishment. Did you pass it on your first try? Was it easier than you expected?
It was my second try and technically I didn't "Pass."
Tester: "Well you got 16 but I'll let you off. You passed."
Sorta reminds me of when I got my permit.
Tester: "Well you got 7 but I'll let you off. You passed."
haha. They said the same thing to me when I passed. I think I was a few points off and she's like, "well I'll let it go, you pass."
*Praise*
Congrats. As for me, I haven't gotten around to getting my permit yet. Going on 18. My mom is over protective. Ah well. Anyway, congrats again.
How the hell do you get anything wrong? Its all common sense. The only thing the person i took the test with said was "you pull out a bit as stop signs. work on that."
as soon as I learn to parallel park I'm gonna take my test...
Parallel parking is where I lost my points. :(
I got a perfect score on my drivers test. :/
I think parallel parking is easy.
It is easy. Actually, I'm really good at it. Even when I took the test I was good at it, I just happened to do a sucky job during that moment. It was a long time ago, but I think I remember not understanding her directions properly.
The written test is more difficult than the driving test.
Haaah, my brother's failed his test four times now.
I'll probably never learn how to drive.
They didn't make me Parallel park or even do a three point turn.
AND I'M SORRY LOS, MY BRAIN MUST NOT BE AS BIG AS YOURS, SINCE I CAN CONTAIN IT IN A NORMAL SIZED SKULL.
How will you be able to go see Dream Theater in concert, Klarth? :(
such a daunting task to tame said iron beast
/praise
I need to take drivers ed. *praise for Judge*
Ack!!! This isn't good!!! A judge that can't even decide how to vote....can now drive!! *gags*
Are you just now getting your liscense? I got mine as soon as possible.
Hah, I can't wait till I get to drive. I don't really like the driver's test over here in the US. Way too easy, I forgot what age you had to be in England to take it, was it eighteen? Anyway, yeah..The test over here apparantly lets you get off with almost anything, I also heard that all you do is drive around a building and park, if you do a good job you pass. From what my sister told me, it's not exactly the same in England. Ah well, congrats anyway!
I had to wait until i was 18, mostly because thats when i had enough money saved up to be able to take care of myself, but if i had been able to sooner i would have
I started working young so by the time I was 16 and able to start driving, I had enough money to pay insurance and I already owned a car. It was easier for me to start working at a young age because my time wasn't taken up with schooling.
I'm too lazy to get it. I have a pretty small group of friends, and I'm not very social. There's no reason to have it.
And about getting my liscense so I can get a job, my grades are terrible right now, and the parents wouldn't approve.
About time.
I want mine soon too. The problem is no money. But soon. Oh yes soon. *Maniacal laugh*
Grats, Judge! And you're only 20!
Congratulations! I was nervous before taking the test, but I basically thought, "Complete idiots who can barely speak English pass this test, so it should be easy." Afterwards the tester had a fair amount of bad marks on the paper. I completely botched backing around a corner, and messed up slightly on several other things. I think my biggest problem was that I was driving an unfamiliar car.
I was most afraid that as she was giving me the directions "left" or "right" I would have a brain lapse and turn the wrong way.
Took you this long? Wow you suck.
the dmv won't even make an appointment with me because I'm under 4'11". :(
sue them for discrimination!!!
Letting someone pass because they're only a few marks below the pass mark is a ridiculous way to run a
country
licence scheme. "Oh, it's okay, she was only just dead, so it wasn't really murder."
Get good enough at it and pass it the next time/kill her outright, you tool.
Except getting perfect ensures absolutely nothing. Of course, passing without actually passing doesn't help, but chances are it doesn't really matter in the end.
Got to love CA and no parallel parking. I got a couple points taken off for going to slow in a business district. Congrats, now buy a car and get out here so we can party it up.
Indeed. I failed twice and haven't gotten a ticket or in an accident that's been my fault since I've been driving. It's been four years too. In my defense, one of those accidents was me being hit by a girl on bars and the other one was some nigra without insurance backing into my parked car at a McDonald's. Anyway, I blame my failing on my one armed driver's ed teacher who drove a stick shift and would rant about water not being wet rather than talking about actually driving.
