Fudge! I can't find this song!!!

Ok, so there is this tune that's stuck in my head. I heard it on Frank FM, which plays primarily hits from the 70's and maybe early 80's.

I am assuming this song is from the 70's, it is a fast beat song with a harder sound. I couldn't really under stand the lyrics, but it almost sounded like a spanish or something. It ends in acapella. It is definately a group and they sing the chorus over and over. It's the group that sings twice, then a single guy sings something (he sings it a couple times), and then the group sings the same thing over that they did before, and that is the chorus. I CAN'T FIND WHAT SONG THIS IS!!!! IT DRIVES ME NUTS!

I'm taking a shot in the dark here where I'm probably wrong, but I'd guess it'd be Oye Como Va by Santana.

sorry, but that's wrong. Like I said, it sounded on the hard side, and went a good pace. I don't know if it WAS spanish or not, but it almost sounded like it, I could be wrong there though. Some of the chorus ended in "a" as in viva it seems.

Go to the radio's website, they generally have a list of all the artists they play and which songs are put on.

uh i'm probably wrong but it could be "L'Via L'Viaquez" by The Mars Volta. :s
was there a few guitar solos throughout the song?

the video version of the song is a lot shorter than the real song by like, 4 or 5 minutes

I don't think it could be the Mars Volta if it's on a 70's hit station.

WAIT, I just remembered this part in the song where they go "OHHWOAH" or something like that...

DIO videos totally crack me up! I just HAD to post them. You understand.

Posted by Proto Man

No... sorry, that isn't it.

Dio has a big voice for such a little man. When Ronnie was in Black Sabbath, Ozzy used to have this dwarf he would have come out on stage that he named Ronnie to poke fun at him. Anyways...

Yeah, I think you just need to look up what they were playing on their website.

"rock the casbah" by the clash?

that's the only guess i can think of based on that info. there's no a capella ending to it (and isn't very hard), but whatever. it's kinda fast, from the early 80s, there's spanish in it, and there's group coruses.

i hope this helps.
