350Z's are supposed to be very liveable cars - they're not really *****y like most sports cars can be.
I duno though... if I was shelling out ~$30k I'd get a new Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX or a gently used MR, just because the 350Z can't put Porsche's and Ferrari's to shame like Lancer can. The Lancer is also somewhat a supercar because it's outrageous.

My car has three wheels and a leg.
I think the 350Z could have so much more potential than it has. Its a really nice car, but when I drove it I wasn't allowed to go over 3K RPM's because of the break in. It still had some pretty good pick up. But not my choice in a sports car. The manual trans is also kinda weird on it. To get it into reverse you have to push down on the shifter and move down to where 2nd gear is.
