It's a series on showtime about a man named Dexter who is a CSI agent that specialises only on blood. I seen all the episodes thus far and so far I like it.
Anyone seen the show yet, or have yet to check into it?
People keep telling me about it, telling me that it is grotesque and that it will add new associations to me name. I'd like to watch it, but it's so difficult for me to sit down when the shows tell me to. I’m better at watching at my own times, which is why I should take the time to record it.
Is he pretty vile? What sort of character is he?
I thought it was supposed to be a comedy?

He only goes for the people that beat the system after murdering someone. He is a character who loves to kill but was taught as a child to kill only the ones that killed as well. Anyways he loves the site of blood and such. But I don't think he is vile.
How did i not notice this thread before? I knew i couldn't be the only person on here who watches it.
It's definitely one of the better new shows on tv right now. There's only one episode left until the end of of the season, but if you'd like to know what the show is like watch this:

They rewrote The Batman?
Batman doesn't cut them into little pieces though. Batman lets the police take the bad guys to Arkham Asylum so that they can, you know, escape again. ;)
He really should start cutting them to pieces. :\
I can't wait for the season finale. The show has become one of my recent favorites.
I watched the first episode about a week or two ago. Loved it, but thought it was too dark and creepy. I don't often find things dark and creepy. Haven't tried to watch anymore episodes.
Very well written show, the writers do a good job on each episode. Also the actor that plays as Dexter does a great job being a blood splatter specialst by day and a serial killer by night.
This show is what Showtime needed to even attempt to compete with HBO, with HBO grabbing some of the best satelite tv shows, Showtime has been a ghost before they had Dexter and Sleeper Cell. I give them props for picking this show.
Michael C. Hall is a phenomenal actor, I surly hope he wins best performance by an actor in a television series.
Oh yeah. I watched this now. Watched the first 3 seasons and I'm definitely going to start the 4th. Good stuff, indeed. James Doakes was hilarious.
The fourth season is by far the best. John Lithgow is easily the best thing that has happened to the show.

I know, I can't get enough of this season.

Seriously that last episode was so ****ing amazing! It was the best episode by a longshot. I'm really, really curious how next season will turn out. Until then... seriously holy ****.
I can't imagine what will happen next season. I hope they can somehow top this season.
