ok so this thread is for all those that believe there are other thing out there that haven't been proven yet, ranging from "does nessy exist?" to "why does my grandmother have stubble?". so if you have a question of the paranormal post it here.
:cookie:enjoy!!
I don't really have a question, because I delve into the paranormal all the time, and I know a lot about it already. I just wanted to say that this is an awesome thread idea.
thank you, so if you know so much start us a topic panic.
Okay, Bigfoot. Do any of you believe there are species like this out there? Not just one missing link, but a family of them. I have seen videos and pictures. Most of which could have been faked, but I think that they are real. I used to know some good sites.. but I have long since forgotten them. Try Googling "Bigfoot"
did it just a bunch of conspiracy nuts, one even claimed bigfoot caused 911, retards, ok but i did find a site that shows much promise in many paranormal fields along with science. so here it is
www.meta-religion.com
it addreses all sides of each idea, it seems really promising
Fun Fact: That was me who killed the pigs. Sorry.
And yeah, I believe in the supernatural or whatever... I just don't get carried away with it.
The chupacabra is complete BS. The only people that see it are either hispanic, or are deeply immersed in hispanic culture. ITs just a cultural myth.
The rest is just plain ol' bs.
I have not seen El Chupacabras either. =/
Even though there have been animal deaths caused by this creature over here.
But I bet it was some kids, with nothing else to do.
What I've experienced with a Ouija board, I never want to do it again. It was my suggestion at someone's house, so there was no chance of interference, and more happened than could have been sheer coincidence.
Still not sure what I believe, though. Could it have been a spirit? Could it have been the power of human will coupled with a negative expectation? Don't know. But it was ****ing scary.
I'm going to debunk the Quija board while at the same time shoot fish in a barrel:
Ideomotor effect: A psychological phenomenon wherein a subject makes motions unconsciously, especially while attributing the motion to a paranormal or supernatural force in which he/she believes.
Absolutely. But that doesn't cause every single lightbulb in the room to explode simultaneously.
I want to get a Quija board. Anyone know where I could get one besides online?
Probably at Wal-Mart. They have everything, except those albums that weren't released as "clean" versions, and that one Neil Young album, and pornography, and illegal drugs, and attractive young woman employees, and wait...No, they do not, but I think they sell Ouija Boards. If not, go to the Big K-Mart that will inexplicably be right across the street.
no, online or a paranormal shop at a nearby mall are your best bets. wal-mart doesn.t sell anything worth value, even if you found one there it'd probably be made of card board and break as soon as you take it out of its cheap five cent box.
You can make a Ouija board out of twenty-eight pieces of paper and a drinking glass.
I just realised that 'Ouija' is a combination of two words in different languages that both mean yes.
EDIT: wtf

seriously, wtf.
In my view, the only supernatural phenomenon are the result of parts of the mind we have'nt explained yet. Notice I said 'mind' and not 'brain'.
Speaking of creatures made up of fantasy that couldn't possibly exist due to lack of evidence, scientific proof and just plain old common sense (Bigfoot, Nessy, Chupacabras). Let's talk more about the mysterious, great western. . . whatever the fuck this is:

Oh yeah, it's Mothman! Those pesky crytozoologists are at it again.

while i don't believe in many of those things nessy might be real, mothman some crazy dude in a batman costume. and i really think that there might be some creature out there that the chupacabra is based on, because these sightings go way back and the fact that that livestock "preyed" upon by it have had organs, and other body parts removed from a 2" hole in the body, for every legend out there there is some logical answer.
If you want some good stuff, and you live in NJ (even if you don't, you might enjoy it) check out Http://Www.WeirdNJ.Com
Most organs don't fit through a two-inch hole.
Of course, humans also have access to drills and such.
