Slowly but surely, if I get my codec problem fixed (>:O), I'll be posting videos. Anyone have videos of themselves, post it here. Recent ones. For now, here's one. I'll post MLG videos later.

Yeah well I know watching vids of you boosts your ego, but I think it would be more fun if we saw videos from other people. Maybe chekc up on our pal Cyphus. I'm sure he's got some good ones. :cool:

Not only that, but vids from any member can kind of give us an insentive to give them some tips on their fighting abilities.

two computers, and neither have the output for the recording, I kinda lost interest. I'll be needing an output soon though again. This is from last year at MLG, the only video I found. I'm the falco player and the sheik is just some guy who got angry at me after I slaughtered him.

I was ranked in 2005 in NY only. #8, it made me grin. 2006, barely went to Tournaments though, and when I did, I brought advanced 2005 play with me, so I didn't last though. I won't be as drastically and disturbingly busy this year around, so I expect to get my game up again. I don't think a champion can arise with falco without wavedashing o_o, or maybe I just don't see it possible.

But yeah, over the past few months I've gotten back into the game and honing my skills at a rapid pace, because I finally have several friends that are really into the game as well. It makes all the difference in the world when, instead of just sitting at home by yourself on a Friday night in front of the 'Cube fending off computer players, you can get together with five or six of your good friends and take turns beating the living **** out of each other amidst the loud obscenities and ear-splitting music. It really helps when your friends have some degree of skill as well, and even moreso when they all want to participate in tournaments. My goal is to get myself tournament-ready by the start of the summer, but I'll be visiting a tri-weekly tournament held up in UCSD starting on March 10th. Of course, I fully expect to get my *** royally handed to me, but chances are I'll see people like Ken there (since my buddy Chris saw him at the tournament he attended a couple weeks ago), and I think the lessons I could learn from these guys would be invaluable. And now that I'm finally watching videos and reading up on guides over at SmashBoards (I've had my account there for over two years now, but hadn't done **** up until now :/), I know I'll be improving. I just hope I'll stay consistent this time and keep at it. Better late than never!

Oh yeah, and nice videos, you two. I'm yet another Fox/Falco whore (particularly Falco), so videos like those are of special interest to me. I'm still pretty much a noob compared to most, but I've learned how to SHFFL effectively, as well as use my Dair spike with a moderate amount of efficiency. I STILL can't wavedash 100% of the time with Falco, though. I'm working on that. When I obtain the means to record matches held with my friends, I'll do so and post them on the web so you can all laugh at how terrible I am. :D Someday, though. Someday.

I can't wavedash perfectly either, I never can and never will. Everytime you see me jump maniacally, it's just a messed up wavedash I try to play off by jumping a second time and doing something else. I fail horribly at wavedashing.

BUT yea, you shoulda seen me my first tourny. *** raped royally. I just kept learning tourny after tourny. You'd be surprised by the skill jump from just attending one tourny. Tournies are awesome.

Oh, and Dire Vulcan (look him up on youtube, he has a really creepy game & watch), came by my house and wants me to go back to being one of the best in NY again. This only means one thing

More videos after the weekend if I go to tournament this Saturday, it feels good to be wanted to go back to this game 8-) I'm thinking more Falco, and now with sheik and young link, and thinking of going back to my Ganondorf ways.
