What would you take?

Posted by Arcadios

If you were to go on a car trip that took more then 5 days what would you take?
I'd just bring my MP3 Player and my DS with all my games.

Posted by Xero

I'd take my walkman, about 20 of my CDS and ride off.

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

MP3 player, cash for food and gas, a book/DS, and most importantly, friends.

The more you bring on a road trip the lamer it is.

Posted by Stalolin

Friends, most defintely. Power inverter, monitor, Gamecube, and Smash Bros. I'd bring/finish a book and I'd probably toss my DS in there as well.

I'd bring my iPod an a way to connect it into the car stereo (either via cassette, cable, or radio transmitter) because I'd probably be driving, and I only like the music I like. Also, a radar detector, spare tyre, clothes, haircare, etc.

MP3 Player
Some books

- A good, easy-reading book (non-serialised Arthur C Clarke is a good example)
- Lots of alcohol (none for mister driver man!)
- A sense of total indecency
- huff huff sigh ohhh yeah
- Junk food, and lots of it
- Happy-go-lucky fun music

lots of music, lots of friends, lots of pot.

Quoting Lord of Spam: lots of pot.

Hippy!

I go on a lot of trips like that, and I take my PSP(or whatever handheld I have at the time), a sketchbook, my longboard, and my iPod.

Anything with headphones is really nice because otherwise I'm listening to the same Eagles cd literally played ten times over every day.

Can't wait for road trips minus parentals.

id just fill my volkswagon mini bus (i dont care what you say, it beats any convertable in road trip vehicle of choice) with great friends, food, and good times and just ride off into the sunset to wherever life will take us.

Posted by NES Queen

i took money, water bottles, munchie food, spare clothes, my ipod, a deck of cards, my camera, and about 20 different state maps to help me find my way back home from California.

Posted by Bj Blaskowitz

I'd take a saddle and NES Queen since she's got all that.

Exact same for me, actually, but CD Player instead of mp3 player.

Friends, DS, AND SOME ROCKING TUNES!

Posted by WILLETH FOR MONTHS

A selection of Disney-theme CDs. Nothing like cruising along a motorway with four people singing in unison to 'Under The Sea'.

And I would deliberately leave a map at home. Getting lost and finding your way back is the best part of a road trip (although couples may disagree).

Posted by Kit

PSP, because it has my music on it. A few games for it, And friends, assuming that they'd be allowed to come.

And Money, if it counts.

You can't take another car with you on a car journey, silly!

Except the most annoying, homosexual experience on this planet.

iPod, water (lots because I get dehydrated a lot), gum, food, a book.

I do that sort of thing every time I'm driving around with friends. Granted, we sing along to oldies instead of Disney movie soundtracks, but it's the same idea.

You weld the other car upside down onto the top of the first car, so if you flip over, you can keep on going.
