Subterranean Homesick Blues

Yeah, it's a song by Bob Dylan, and one of his best, too. It's definitely a protest song, with obscure lyrics, which means it's a typical Dylan composition. It's one of my favorite songs. Today I found a bootleg of it performed by the Beatles, so I looked into it, and they did record the song once as a rehearsal. Has anybody else ever heard this recording? It's crazy.

Oh, yeah, if you figured by songs like "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away, "Working Class Hero", and "Yer Blues" that John was the vocalist, you're correct.

I only just heard Highway 61 Revisited for the first time, and I liked it, so I suppose I should check that out too.

I'm very interested in Modern Times though - have you heard it yourself?

Yeah, I have. This thread was mainly to talk about the bootleg that I had found. If anyone is interested, I can probably send it to them. I have it as an MP3 and it's pretty nifty.
