Personally I won't be buying one until they drop in price, but that doesn't mean I'm not excited anyway. ;)

Sounds good to me. If I get it at all, I'll probably wait until Brawl comes out, then trade in my GCN with a couple of games - hopefully the price'll have gone down by then.
