I actually like it, it's pretty nifty once you get a third-party program to get rid of all the adds.

Seems to me that would most likely happen if you have more than one instance of the Windows Live Messenger Setup Wizard running, even if that process isn't displayed on the desktop.
I lol'd so hard that my mom came over to see what it was, and when I showed her just said "I dont get it".
