Got a new tattoo tonite, that makes #3 for me. Its something ive wanted to get for a long time, and I finally had the time/money.

The "USMC" part has been there for awhile, I got it in like december. But the rest of the sleeve is all new... Roughly 3 hours of work for the outline part.

I still have to get it shaded in. The outline part pictured here cost me roughly 360... The shading will cost anywhere from 300 - 500 dollars more. Ill hopefully get back into the tattoo shop next weekend.

I think tattoos are gay. Unless it's a tattoo of a gigantic erect penis which covers your entire front of your body. Just cos that's so rare.
And yeh, in the last photo you look like a Nazi Hanks.
So how did your tattoosbwheres the other tatto, What color are you going to shade it with?
Im still not sure how im gonna shade it... I havent decide if Im going straight black, or dark black in the middle and a fade to grey as it goes twords the edges... Im not a big fan of colorful tattos so I think im gonna keep it black/grey
Grey scale tattoo's are classic, and add a bit of depth I find. Nice tattoo. I can't wait to get one. It's going to be Zeus since I was obsessed with the Greek life style for about 6 years.

Seeing the size and price of other people's tattoos makes me think I got ripped off for mine. Either way, it looks neat.

yeah I was kinda in a hurry cause I had to get back to base before my libo expired, so he went kinda fast.... 3 hours of bleeding pain haha
I wouldn't rush back to have it filled in for at least 4-6 weeks. Gotta give that area time to heal before you start scraping and digging over it again or it will just end up looking like poop.
As far as shading options go, you should check out some of the pics over [URL="http://www.bmezine.com/tattoo/bme-tatt.html"]here.[/URL] There's literally thousands to sit through, but the more you look at different styles eventually you'll see one that suits you. Ill be finishing it december at the earliest. I get onship in two weeks heading for the phillipines, and a raw tat is not something I wanna have to deal with too much out in the jungle, plus by december I should have time to save money and think.,.. Im thinking about getting it tip shaded, or maybe add some depth to it with some black fading to grey... or i might just do it straight black... im not sure yet..
