Always do a double take

Posted by Klarth

This is a banner I made in June 2005. I'm sure some of you remember it. I decided to run the psd through photoshop and see what I could do with it...

Pretty nice, if I say so myself. I ran through a load of other banners, too:

Did this one last week.

Fixed it up on Sunday.

Remember this?

Monday's revision.

Sooo, yeah, even if you think it looks perfect and wonderful, always come back the next day and revise it a bit. It works wonders.

All your re-makes are awesome. Good job :)

They all look really nice. Guess those double takes were worth it, eh?

Brushes are totally for fags.

Nice brush on the second one in the top right corner, fag.

Nice regardless.

I actually prefer the 5th to the 6th.

Awesome revisions. Also the 2nd banner in the top right corner, what is that? Looks good anyways.

I like the second one the best.

...That's just a load of circle-shaped vector masks on top of each other. I don't know what you are talking about :)

You're lying and you know it.

Posted by Klarth

Nope. I actually have no clue what you're inferring.

Posted by Alastor

I'm probably mistaken, just messing with you. That looks very similar to a brush I have, which, I believe, is from Zelda. Got a brush set with a whole bunch of temple symbols and the like on it.

Posted by Klarth

I don't have that brushset :)

Here's a background I knocked together with which I had no idea what to do.

Here's what I turned it into.

All except for the first set are too light. Like most of your banners have been as of late.

Posted by Klarth

Bright is good! It's eye-catching!

Posted by Roger Smith

Well, if that's what you like to do, I'm all for it:)

Except for the whole a little tad bright part.

But seriously, you do what you like Klarth. I won't harshly judge your work like you do mine:cookie:

You ****ing suck :cookie:

Stop relying so heavily on brushes and you'll be HAPPY JOY.

Quoting Klarth: I don't have that brushset :)

I like the background, but it should be a lil more clear.

I like the set you put over that one, amazing how you do that.
