I'm in the process of getting a friend of mine a gamecube for his birthday, as he's always wanted one.
His favorite game types are Strategy, RPG, and Adventure.
I'm not really that familiar with the gamecube as I've only played a few games for it.
If anyone wants to suggest some good games that fit in the genres I'd appreciate it a lot
Two amazing games: Super Smash Bros. Melee and Animal Crossing.
If he likes RPG, he should love Animal Crossing.
SSBM is more on the fighting game side.
Gamecube has a lot of kiddie RPGs. If he likes strategy, definitely get him Metal Gear Solid.
The Paper Mario Games
Tales of Symphonia
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
Pikmin
Starfox Adventure
That'd be a good list for him. :D
Strategy: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Adventure: Metroid Prime, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Resident Evil 4
RPG: Paper Mario 2, Tales of Symphonia
Other: Smash Bros. Melee
[quote=Sapphire]Tales of Phantasia
Holy ****, they remade ToP for the GCN?
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (RPG)
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (Adventure)
Super Smash Bros. Melee (Fighting)
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (Strategy)
Super Smash Bros. and Wind Waker are a MUST for all GC owners, so I suggest one of those. :)
Tales of Symphonia and Baten Kaitos are my favorite Game Cube games, at least when it comes to single-player games. They are both RPGs. If he is into complex games, then he'll probably enjoy them both. Also, you can probably find them for a very affordable price. Paper Mario is also a good RPG. It's much simpler and familiar, too.
I'm looking forward to Fire Emblem. I don't want to start it until I finish defeating Final Fantasy though. :(
Symphonia, Baiten Kaitos, FFCrystal Chronicles, Fire Emblem
Symphonia, SSBM, Fire Emblem.
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle is a great Adventure game, and has RPG elements, raising a Chao is cute.
Zelda: Wind Waker, Mario Sunshine and Paper Mario are all good starters.
Metroid Prime is good if your looking for somehting a little tougher.
And Starfox Adventures is a great adventure, but it doesn't work for everyone (it worked for me).
Smash Bros Mellee is a must says I.
