Tristram for Diablo II or is it I? Well I cant remember but IT IS from a Diablo game. IT has a dark yet classical sound to it. Very nice. Only problem is it takes up the space of 5 songs on a CD :( So I usually dont put it on a CD.

My friend Rob and I are conducting a...very large and wide poll to see what the best video game music is. Why? We have no lives. In either case, what, in your opinion, is the best video game song ever? Any game, any genre, any system, any kind of music (however, music done by real bands and put into the game does not count. For example, Burnout and most racing games).
In any case, my vote will come later...need to take a long hard look at my music files.

I like the music in the Donkey Kong Country games. And also the save room theme from Resident Evil.
Bah, too difficult to choose just one. For the longest time it was Stickerbrush Symphony from Donkey Kong Country 2, but now that I've started to pay more attention to the music in games, I'm not too sure about that...

Megaman X's Storm Eagle Theme's definately worth a mention. Along with all the Sonic 2 and Monkey Island themes.

Why don't you just download the SPC for Dracula X and the SPC plugin for Winamp? That way you could download SPC's for ALL SNES games.
I've already got the whole Rondo of Blood soundtrack on my computer.
For all my SNES video game soundtrack needs I just find the SPC and use Winamp, saves ****LOADS of space, and since they're SPC format they sound essentially the same as on the SNES.

The Cosmo Canyon (Red XIII) Theme from Final Fantasy VII. It's so tribal, catchy, and perfect. If only one thing made playing that game worthwhile (besides Red himself), it was that tune.

the theme song to the original mario. its catchy and its the only video game theme thats doesn't make you look insane when you hum it. as a matter of fact people hum it along with you.
