I'm having a problem with AIM maybe someone can help. My away message always just turns off whenever it feels, and I think sometimes it signs me off and on altogether. It's really annoying and I have no clue what the problem is. I have a stable internet connection otherwise.

Do you type to people when you have an away message up? There might be your problem.
Firewalls like ZoneAlarm often block programs such as AIM, MSN and Trillian from tracking things such as mouse movement and keyboard activity, which most "away" notices rely on. If the program isn't allowed to know when you move your mouse or how long you're 'idle' from th keyboard, it can't put your away message there. That's merely a suggestion, in case you do run firewall software.

Thanks for your input, Warrozo, but it was useless and does not aid this discussion at all. If we cared about which clients you ever used, I'm sure at least one of us would ask you.
I downloaded AIM triton and it seems to be more reliable.
