Anyone have any good reccommendations for songs that remind them of summer/ growing up? I heard "1979" by the Smashing Pumpkins play on my playlist a few minutes ago, and I just really like the feeling i get from that song.
I don't care if it's a poppish song or a popular song or an "uncool" rock song, just

I remember hearing a lot of ABBA and KISS as I was growing up. Those were the days.
ALL SKA MUSIC. Ska music is the perfect Genre for summer.
Anyway: Summer of 69, I Go Back, Superman, Complicated, Sk8er Boi, You Had a Bad Day (that song by Daniel Powter), Only The Good Die Young, Believe (by a smalltime band in Missouri called Before 9), One Day At A Time, and this one sng by the beach boys with lyrics that go: "Wouldn't it be nice if we could wake up, wouldn't it be nice if we were older, then we wouldn't have to wait so long."
I'm really liking "What have we been waiting for" by Daphne Loves Derby. It reminds me of my best/girl friend and how winter brought about the worst part of our relationship, our breakup in the spring, and how much I looked forawrd to the summer to be great.

Um, Summer of 69 by Bryan Adams, and Ignition(REmix) my R kelly, because when ever I went to play basket ball with my friends once summer that is all I heard. I eventually wipped the ball at this guys stereo and ran. Amazingly he didn't catch me because I threw someones lawn chair at him. ;)
O and Easy Target by BLink 182 because me and my friends performed it at the Talent Show in grade 6 :D
