My biggest SNES disapointment was when Nintendo decided 2 cancel the much anticipated Star Fox 2. I mean after the succes of the first one, why would they ever consider pushing the sequel to the N64 when the SNEs was at the peak of its popularity? I'm sure Star Fox 2 would have sold upon millions like the original did. The worst thing is, the game was nearly complete.
Seiken Densetsu 3 and Final Fantasy 5 never being brought over to the states.
Yeh those 2. Including others like Front Mission 1 & 2, Rudra's Treasure, Treasure Hunter G, R2 Rendering Soldier, Bahamut Lagoon, Romancing Saga trilogy...the list goes on...
No Secret of Mana II, and no Front Mission. Hell, pretty much ALL of the Japan-only RPG's.
Final Fantasy leaving for Playstation. Doesn't matter so much in retrospect but I remember being really miffed back in the day.
No Star Fox 2 was big dissapointment too, and anytime a save battery dies... poor, poor saved files.:(

A weird coincidence to coincide with your little quarrel. My biggest dis' to the SNES was the fabled discdrive that Sony was pushing under the SNES. Yeah, I remember reading a major article in EGM late '95 about Sony holding hands with Nintendo and happily making project "Playstation", which oddly enough was the prototype codename for the SNES DD. So, FF wasn't the only thing to walk out on Nintendo. Have you seen or heard of any recent titles on any Nintendo console, from Sony since the SNES split? No..

Sure was, and they cut it loose at the last possible minute. Just to whore it off to the N64, and reworked it to death. Changing the very essence of the true sequel we may have recieved..
