In Mario Party there is a mini game called Domination which requires you to mash A as fast as you can for 10 seconds.
The game actually records how many buttons are pressed in 10 seconds so its good for competition/records.
Well a few months ago some friends and I started to take this game to the next level and really set some records.
We found by using "weapons" of sorts it vastly increases our effeciency. :D
Now, that can be considered unfair and I have more respect to people who do it unarmed, bare hands whatever.
So what is everyones best?
In both catorgorys.
Bare Hands/Unarmed:
146 - Peachrocks (bloke I know in Sydney)

Weapons:
158 - (:cool: ) Dino (friend of mine)

I can only get to 98 with my hands. Maybe I'm getting slower now with my old age.

Well, I'll reveal one of the weapons which we use, but not the weapon of mass mashing.

I can only do 106 unarmed, and lately I can't even crack 100.
If we get a decent digital camera we may make an amusing short combo viedo sort of thing about Domination.
Does the GameCube use any third party controllers similar to the PS2's rapidwire ones? If so there's an idea for you.
Probably, but that would be cheating.
I think, you have to at least be putting in a physical effort.
And in other news what a shame that the game maxes out at 160. :(
I'd say the game can't register presses any faster without thinking that you are actually holding the button in, due to the fact that it gets pressed 16 times in a second.

I've played that, but I'm awful at button mashing games.
I got up to 133 and got mad blister/calous things. Ouch.
I managed 115 unarmed using a new technique.
Basically you want a sliding motion as opposed to the classic mashing way of doing it.
We can tell if a method is any good based on the sound.
Yeah, that's how I got 133. It's effin' impossible otherwise. :P
I only use my right thumb when I do tapping game, I can temporarily lock my elbow and shoulder and enduce an arm spasm (which is all fine and good if you run into only a couple tapping games, but get a few of those in a row and I'll feel the burn:D). Using my thumb, I average bout 129 to 133 taps.
