Recently after purchasing my new laptop my 30 day MAcafee subscription has ended. Now I dont feel like paying 50 bucks for a new year subscription so I am thinking about getting AVG. Now before I get AVG I want to uninstall mcafee. Should I do this? I dont want to mess up my comp by deleting something thatll mess up my whole computer, and If i do should I delete Mcafee Security center AND virus scan?

Yeah you should be able to delete it no problem... I don't see why not.

Question though, who is your ISP? And what is AVG?

Uninstall Mcafee. Install AVG Free. Problem solved.

Cox and AVG is antivirus software

Ok, I was just wondering because I do know that ISP's, especially Broadband ISP's are now offering free security suites complete with firewall, antivirus, anti-spyware, and all that good stuff.

If you want to go with AVG though, that's fine. Like we said, just uninstal McAfee.
