just look at the reflection in the glass holding it up if you don't see Wii upside down then its 100% fake.
If the button were for communicating with the DS, I would think it would simply read "DS" on it instead of "Sync." I'm wondering if it will search for and link up multiple Wiis in a given space, or perhaps unfold the casing of the system and transform it into a Wiimote-controlled killing machine.
Mp3 players have sync functions to get the music folder on your PC and the folder on the flash memory the same. Perhaps this button syncs all the files on the card and on the internal memory.
I wouldn't doubt it's just a way to connect more controllers, much like the ")))" button on the 360.
I wonder what exactaly "Sync" means? Sync with what? Another Wii?

I, too, wonder if anyone has speculated as to the function of this "Sync" button. Does it run hot and cold water? Does it feature a Brita water filter and a spray nozzle for rinsing dishes and torturing small children?
