is there anyway to fix the icon so to say or whatever?
[Size=4]Go to View>Folder options, then find the checkbox that says "Hide extensions for known file types" and see if it is unchecked.
See what the 3-letter extension at the end of the file is. If there isn't one, then you should put it on. Most music is mp3. You can't burn a file if it has no extension if I can remember right... but see if any of your programs can play the file. If you downloaded that, maybe it's a bad file.[/size]

Yes, put '.mp3' on the end of their filenames.
I know what the prob was. I went to properties and then clicked on change to change the software that plays it from Realone to windows media player, and it works now.
