Help building my new computer.

Posted by Proto Man

As of now, I have a pretty good computer. It can't play THE latest games or anything, but for now she does fine. Eventually though I am going to build myself a new computer with top notch hardware.

Even though I built my last computer, it was with parts that were given to me. This is the first time I have had to "shop around" for new parts. So this is what I have so far, please take a look, and critique it.

The grand total comes to $708.25 without shipping, and without an OS.

I haven't rightly decided which OS I am going to get yet. I might either get Vista Business when it comes out, or just go with XP Pro.

But then there is another problem, do I get regular XP Pro? Or do I have to get XP Pro 64 bit edition? See some of this stuff is new to me, and I am not exactly sure what to get or how it would work out.

I doubt I will pull any parts from this computer. I was actually planing on using it as a dedicated server then.
