Wrestling games are not fighters, they are alt sports, like skateboarding.

They both function exactly like fighters, with wrestling aspects tacked on. And like Lost Fog said, get smackdown.

I'd say they're fighters. Not only is the direct goal of a wrestling game to fight and defeat your oponent, but the title of "sport" should also never grace the name of professional wrestling. "Theater," if anything, seeing as it's a show.

Wrestling as it apears in the games is a sport. IRL WWE in a show, nothing more.
