What the **** is this? There's something seriously wrong with the USA, and I'd like to know what it is. This is beyond anal as far as I'm concerned.
Dont worry about it. If that couple is smart AT ALL the officers responsible will be unemployed by Monday. If it were me, they'd already he getting **** from their cheif, and I'd have contacted the office of the state attourney general. The officers behavior was COMPLETELY uncalled for.

That's more to do with Baltimore than the US. There are some irratable policemen there... I live reasonably close to Baltimore, and I notice things like this happening every so often. It's not that big of a deal, though, so I don't know why this got on the news.
Were they black? Because I can almost understand it happening if that were the case. Sure it's racist, but otherwise I can't fathom why... other than stupidity on the officers' part that is.
Actually, the couple was white, but the officer was a woman.

Solution: Just don't ask for directions! Like LoS said though, it's going to be easy to get these charges dropped, and probably to have action taken against the police. Also, this will probably get the publics attention ("I dun want dis happen 2 me gais") and they may move to have the officers fired or something.
I wanna see the fur fly* when daddy finds out his little girl was spending time in the jail because some cop thought her job description didnt involve helping the public.
