Since this is the Board for "Help", Suggestions, and Complaints, I figured i'd ask a simple question that I can't figure out. If I have a picture and I want to post it, how do I go about getting a URL for it and then posting it onto the page?
Find the picture you want somewhere on the internet. Certain places like AngelFire won't let you do this though.
Right click the picture and click Properties.
Now highlight and copy that URL, and paste it to the place you want to show the image.
Now, you can do one of two things depending on where it's going, but if it's a messageboard like VGC you'll use bbcode: [img]paste the url here[/img]
If it's anything else you'll probably need HTML, which would be:

I appreciate the help. That answers one way. What about a picture I have saved in "My Documents" ??? Must I put it on a website? I do have my own website in which I could post it on there and then run through all of that but is there an easier way?
A little hard to use an image if it doesn't have http://blah-blah-blah... in da URL. Images on your computer are worthless if there not on da internet.

Photobucket is the least complicated free image/video host you'll find. Sign up there. Use it to upload pictures from your computer (My Documents) to the internet. They'll give you a URLs for the pictures you upload. From there, take the url and place it into BBcode

Easy as that.
You also have [url]www.imageshack.com[/url] where you can create a URL with a saved picture ;)
